Rosé Sangria with Berries & Lemon

Yield: 8 servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Refrigeration Time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
This rosé sangria with berries and lemon is refreshing, light, and the best cocktail for summer! It is one of my go-to pitcher cocktails to make for a crowd and can be mixed up in just minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 c strawberries, sliced + stems removed
  • 1 c raspberries
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/2 c orange liqueur
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced + seeds removed
  • 1 peach, thinly sliced + pit removed
  • 1/2 c lemon juice, freshly-squeezed*
  • 1 bottle of dry rosé
  • Club soda, for serving (optional)**

Equipment

  • Large pitcher or punch bowl

Instructions

  • To a large pitcher or punch bowl, add the strawberries, raspberries, sugar, and orange liqueur. Stir gently and then let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Next, add the lemon slices, peach slices, lemon juice, and dry rosé. Stir the mixture gently to combine.
  • Cover the pitcher and place the sangria in the fridge. Allow it to refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight so the flavors have time to meld.
  • Serve the sangria over ice. If you want a lighter cocktail, add a splash of club soda to each glass right before serving.***

Notes

*For a smoother sangria, strain the lemon juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp and seeds.
**I personally do not add club soda to my sangria but you can add a splash right before serving for a lighter cocktail.
***Serve the sangria with skewers so guests can snack on the leftover fruit after the sangria is gone!
***This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to serve a larger crowd.
