They're SUPER easy.
They're a great snack, dessert, or holiday brunch.
These old-fashioned donuts are full of autumn flavor!
- apple cider
- baking powder & soda
- cinnamon, cardamom, & apple pie spice
- white & brown sugar
- vanilla extract
- whole milk
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, & spices.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, sugars, egg, vanilla, & apple cider.
Combine the wet & dry ingredients until you have a thick batter.
Pipe the batter into the donut pans. Bake at 375°F for 8-9 minutes.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Brush each donut with butter and dip in the spiced sugar mixture. Enjoy!
Don't have a donut pan?
If you don't have a donut pan, you can totally just use a cupcake or muffin tin.
THE SECRET TO BAKED APPLE CIDER DONUTS?
Boiled apple cider! You can easily make your own or buy it online if you're short on time.

1. Don't over-bake or they will be dry.
2. If you don't have apple pie spice, use warm spices instead.
3. Serve the donuts right away for the best texture!
