COLD BREW COFFEE CONCENTRATE

the ultimate guide on making

QUICK | EASY| AFFORDABLE

3 REASONS TO MAKE THIS COLD BREW CONCENTRATE

1. It only has 2 ingredients. 2. This recipe is quick & easy. 3. It's way more affordable than store-bought!

INGREDIENTS & TOOLS

- Coffee beans - Filtered water - Jar or brewing container - Coffee filter

- Coffee grinder - Scale - Fine mesh sieve - Carafe - Tall spoon

01 GRIND

1. Start by measuring out the coffee beans. 2. Then, grind them until they're medium-coarse. 3. Pour the coffee grounds into the brewing container.

02 BREW

Next, pour the water into the brewing container. Stir it well until there are no dry spots. Cover & refrigerate for 14-20 hours.

03 FILTER

Place a coffee filter in a fine-mesh sieve. Filter the coffee through the sieve over a large container (like a large liquid measuring cup).

04 DILUTE

Lastly, pour the the cold brew concentrate in a carafe or pitcher. Add an equal amount of filtered water & mix well. Enjoy!

COLD BREW RATIO

I personally like a 1:8 ratio for cold brew concentrate. It's strong but not too strong. For extra strong concentrate, try a 1:4 ratio.

COLD BREW GRIND

A lot of recipes recommend coarse coffee, but I like a medium coarse grind. It makes for sweeter, smoother coffee!

CAN I MAKE THIS IN A FRENCH PRESS?

Yes! You can definitely make cold brew concentrate in a French press. Just mix it up, brew, & filter when it's done.
