CRANBERRY ORANGE CHEESE BALLS

THE INGREDIENTS

- Cream cheese - White cheddar - Maple syrup - Orange zest - Thyme - Salt & pepper - Pecans - Cranberries - Parsley - Crackers, for serving

01 MIX THE CHEESE

Mix the cream cheese, sharp white cheddar cheese, maple syrup, orange zest, thyme, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.

02 SCOOP

Scoop the cheese into balls & roll between your palms to create smooth balls. Place the cheese balls on a parchment-lined sheet pan and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.

03 COATING

Combine the remaining pecans, cranberries, and parsley in a shallow dish or pie plate. Gently roll each cheese ball until the outside is well-coated.

TIP!

Let the cheese balls warm up for 15 minutes before rolling.

If the cheese balls are too firm, the coating will not stick to the outside.

CAN I MAKE ONE BIG CHEESE BALL INSTEAD?

Definitely! Just roll the cream cheese mixture into one big ball, refrigerate, & roll it in the coating. Super easy and great for a crowd!

FOR SPICY CRANBERRY ORANGE CHEESE BALLS

Try adding a few tablespoons of chopped jalapeños, some cayenne pepper, or another hot pepper if you want a spicy element!
