EASY & CRISPY DOMINO POTATOES

with shallots & herbs

WHY YOU SHOULD MAKE THESE POTATOES

They're creamy in the middle & super crispy on the edges. They have shallots, garlic, rosemary, & thyme. So flavorful! Everyone loves this easy potato side dish.

INGREDIENTS

- RUSSET POTATOES - SALTED BUTTER - SHALLOTS - FRESH ROSEMARY - FRESH THYME - GARLIC - KOSHER SALT - BLACK PEPPER

01

Melt the butter in a pan. Add the shallots & sauté. Then, add the thyme, rosemary, & garlic and cook until it's fragrant.

02

Peel the potatoes, cut off the ends, and trim the potatoes into a brick shape. Use a mandoline to cut the potatoes into very thin slices.

03

Layer the potatoes on a pan like dominoes that have been tipped over. Brush with the shallot herb butter & bake until very crispy.

TIP!

Look for potatoes that are relatively the same thickness and size. This will help the potato slices cook consistently & stack well on the pan!

SERVING IDEAS

Enjoy them with steak or smoked tri-tip.

Eat the potatoes with pork chops, roast pork, or pork tenderloin.

Eat them with roasted or grilled chicken.

CAN I CUT THESE WITHOUT A MANDOLINE?

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend cutting potatoes dominoes without a mandoline. You need the slices to be consistent for the most crispiness!
