with boozy eggnog glaze

3 REASONS TO MAKE THESE EGGNOG COOKIES

1. They're crispy and buttery. 2. The cookies are perfectly sweet and have rum glaze. 3. Everyone loves them - they're the best Christmas cookie!

THE INGREDIENT LIST

- flour - cornstarch + salt - cinnamon + nutmeg - Unsalted butter

- sugar - vanilla - eggnog - rum

01 MAKE THE DOUGH

1. Whisk the flour, cornstarch, salt, & spices. 2. Cream the butter & sugar. Add the vanilla & eggnog. 3. Stir in the flour mixture until the dough forms. Chill.

REMEMBER TO CHILL THE DOUGH!

To get the proper flavor and texture, you must chill the dough for at least 15-30 minutes. Otherwise, the dough will stick when you try to roll it out.

02 STAMP & BAKE

1. Roll the dough into 2 Tablespoon balls. 2. Dip the cookie stamps into flour. 3. Press the cookie stamps into the balls of dough. 4. Place on a sheet pan & bake until golden.

03 GLAZE

1. In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, rum, vanilla, & eggnog. 2. Dip the cooled cookies in the glaze. 3. Let the cookies harden completely before you enjoy them.

TIP!

If you don't have stamps, you can roll out the dough and cut the cookies with cookie cutters. Decorate with sprinkles for fun!
