FROZEN APEROL SPRITZ

3 REASONS TO MAKE THIS STRAWBERRY APEROL SPRITZ!

1. It's fruity & refreshing. 2. This is the perfect cocktail to serve to a crowd! 3. This cocktail can be made in advance.

THE INGREDIENT LIST

- Aperol - Orange juice - Lemon juice - Frozen strawberries

- Prosecco - Simple syrup - Ice - Mint/olives

01 JUICE & APEROL ICE CUBES

1. First, squeeze the lemons & oranges. Combine the juices. 2. Pour the lemon-orange juice into ice cube trays. Repeat with the Aperol. 3. Freeze for at least 4 hours.

02 BLEND

Add the cubes to a blender with the frozen strawberries, Prosecco, & ice. Blend until there are no chunks, 30-60 seconds.

03 TASTE & GARNISH

Taste and add simple syrup if necessary. Divide between glasses and garnish with mint or olives. Enjoy right away!

TIP! MAKE THIS SPRITZ WITHOUT A BLENDER

NO BLENDER? NO PROBLEM! YOU CAN ALSO MAKE THIS FROZEN APEROL SPRITZ IN THE FREEZER GRANITA-STYLE.

DOES APEROL FREEZE?

Because of the alcohol content, the Aperol will not freeze solid. But, it will freeze enough to make this cocktail nice & slushy!

MAKE AHEAD

Make this cocktail up to 2 hours in advance and store in the freezer. Serve once your guests arrive. So easy & stress-free!

VARIATIONS

Instead of strawberries, try mangos, peaches, oranges, or raspberries. Use champagne or rosé instead of Prosecco. Use orange or lime juice instead of lemon juice.
