THE INGREDIENTS
- Chicken- Salt & pepper- Oil- Butter- Shallot- Garlic- Tomato paste & sauce- Wine- Cream- Bouillon- Parmesan- Pepper flakes & Italian seasoning- Sun-dried tomatoes- Pasta
Pound the chicken until it's evenly thin. Sear it in oil for 3-4 minutes per side until it's browned & cooked through.Rest the chicken for 5 minutes & slice. Set aside.
Sauté the shallots, garlic, & tomato paste. Add the wine, tomato sauce, & heavy cream.Then, stir in the chicken bouillon, parmesan, spices, & sun-dried tomatoes.
Toss the pasta, chicken, basil, and sauce together in the pan along with a splash of pasta water. Stir until it's glossy.Serve the pasta with parmesan, basil, & pepper flakes. Enjoy!
Don't skip tenderizing the chicken! It will cook more evenly & the chicken will be moist & tender instead of tough & chewy.If you don't have a meat tenderizer, use a rolling pin instead.
To store leftover pasta, place it in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 5 days.Reheat it with a splash of chicken broth on the stove. Stir until hot and enjoy!
