MARRY ME CHICKEN PASTA

- The pasta comes together in about 30 minutes. - It's lovely for a romantic date night at home or for a dinner party. - It's rich, savory, and full of flavor!

THE INGREDIENTS

- Chicken - Salt & pepper - Oil - Butter - Shallot - Garlic - Tomato paste & sauce - Wine - Cream - Bouillon - Parmesan - Pepper flakes & Italian seasoning - Sun-dried tomatoes - Pasta

01 CHICKEN

Pound the chicken until it's evenly thin. Sear it in oil for 3-4 minutes per side until it's browned & cooked through. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes & slice. Set aside.

02 PASTA

Bring a pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until 1 minute before al dente. Save some of the starchy pasta water. Drain.

03 SAUCE

Sauté the shallots, garlic, & tomato paste. Add the wine, tomato sauce, & heavy cream. Then, stir in the chicken bouillon, parmesan, spices, & sun-dried tomatoes.

04 ASSEMBLE

Toss the pasta, chicken, basil, and sauce together in the pan along with a splash of pasta water. Stir until it's glossy. Serve the pasta with parmesan, basil, & pepper flakes. Enjoy!

- GREEN SALAD OR CAESAR - GARLIC BREAD OR ROLLS - GREEN BEANS OR BROCCOLI - CHEESECAKE OR CROSTADA - RED OR WHITE WINE

PRO TIP!

Don't skip tenderizing the chicken! It will cook more evenly & the chicken will be moist & tender instead of tough & chewy. If you don't have a meat tenderizer, use a rolling pin instead.

STORING

To store leftover pasta, place it in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 5 days. Reheat it with a splash of chicken broth on the stove. Stir until hot and enjoy!
