FUDGY MOCHA CRINKLE COOKIES

(& crinkle cookie sandwiches!)

WHY YOU SHOULD MAKE THESE COOKIES

They're fudgy, soft, & chewy. The recipe is easy to make! Turn them into cookie sandwiches or eat as-is. They are so cute for cookie boxes or exchange parties!

INGREDIENTS

- CHOCOLATE - FLOUR - BAKING POWDER - SALT - ESPRESSO POWDER - SUGAR - NEUTRAL OIL - EGGS - VANILLA EXTRACT - POWDERED SUGAR - CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD (OPTIONAL)

01

Melt the chocolate. Add the sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla, flour, baking powder, salt, & espresso powder. Cover the dough & chill.

02

Once the dough is chilled, scoop the dough & roll it into balls. Roll the cookie dough balls in sugar & powdered sugar. Bake.

03

To make crinkle cookie sandwiches, spread chocolate hazelnut spread on half the cookies.

Top with the other half of the cookies & sandwich together. Enjoy with hot coffee!

PRO-TIP

The cookies are done when the edges are set, the tops are crinkled, & the centers are a bit under-done. Don't over-bake or the cookies will be dry & crumbly!

DO I HAVE TO CHILL THE DOUGH?

Yes! This cookie dough is very loose so chilling the dough for 2+ hours is necessary so that it will roll properly. It also helps develop the flavors!

SERVING IDEAS

Serve the cookies with hot coffee or tea.

Put them in a cookie box or bring them to a cookie exchange party.

Share them with Santa on Christmas!

FREEZER TIPS

You can freeze the cookies baked or unbaked! The baked cookies & the frozen cookie dough will last for up to 3 months in the freezer.
