INGREDIENTS

- pie dough - eggs - turbinado sugar - nectarines - brown sugar - flour - cinnamon & cardamom - lemons - salt - mascarpone - vanilla extract

01 PIE DOUGH

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. 2. Roll the pie dough until it's about 1/8'' thick. 3. Place in the fridge while you prepare the other ingredients.

02 MAKE THE FILLINGS

1. Combine the nectarines, brown sugar, spices, lemon juice & salt. 2. Mix together the mascarpone, egg, sugar, lemon zest, & vanilla extract.

03 ASSEMBLE & BAKE

1. Layer the mascarpone & nectarine fillings on the pie dough. 2. Fold the edges of the dough over. 3. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with Turbinado sugar, & bake.

SERVING IDEAS

Serve the nectarine galette warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice cream, butter pecan ice cream, or whipped cream.

FOR A SMOOTHER FILLING, PEEL THE NECTARINES BEFORE SLICING THEM.

Otherwise, you can leave the peel on the nectarines!

CAN I USE PEACHES INSTEAD?

Yes! If you don't have nectarines, you can always use fresh peaches instead. They will be just as delicious in this galette!
