ROASTED TOMATO PIZZA SAUCE

- SO easy - made with just a few ingredients - super quick - made on a sheet pan - full of flavor!

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED

- fresh tomatoes - garlic - shallots - olive oil - oregano, red pepper flakes, basil, thyme - salt & pepper - unsalted butter - sugar

01 MIX THE INGREDIENTS

1. Place the tomatoes, shallots, & garlic on a sheet pan. 2. Drizzle with olive oil & sprinkle with seasonings. 3. Toss to combine.

02 ROAST THE TOMATOES

4. Roast the tomatoes until they're soft & fragrant. 5. Add the basil, stir, & roast for a few more minutes. 6. Melt the butter into the veggies.

03 BLEND & ENJOY!

7. Blend the roasted tomatoes until the sauce is smooth. 8. Let the sauce cool & pour into a jar. Refrigerate. 9. Use on pizza, pasta, & more!

NO BLENDER?

No problem! You can mash the roasted garlic tomato sauce by hand with a potato masher. It will be a little more chunky but will taste just as delicious!
