TRI-TIP DRY RUB

THE INGREDIENTS

- Brown sugar - Garlic powder - Onion powder - Paprika

- Chili powder - Cayenne - Kosher salt - Black pepper

01 SPICES

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, cayenne, Kosher salt, and black pepper.

02 MIX

Mix the spices together until they're well-combined. Taste the tri-tip dry rub and add more spices or brown sugar to taste, if desired.

03 MARINATE

Use the rub on any of your favorite tri-tip recipes. Just pat the rub on the tri-tip and let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

QUICK TIP!

To keep the dry rub from clumping, use fresh brown sugar. Then, use a fork to break apart the brown sugar before mixing.

STORAGE

TO STORE LEFTOVER RUB, PLACE IT IN AN AIRTIGHT JAR AND STORE FOR UP TO 6 MONTHS. YOU CAN ALSO MAKE A DOUBLE BATCH FOR EASY GRILLING!
