SMOKED TRI-TIP SANDWICHES

with fried onions & garlic aioli

THE INGREDIENTS

- Tri-tip - Rolls - Provolone - Fried onions - Arugula

- Mayo - Lemon juice - Garlic - Salt & pepper

01 GARLIC AIOLI

Start by combining the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, & pepper. Whisk until the aioli is smooth. Set aside.

02 ASSEMBLE

Split the rolls & spread with garlic aioli. Layer the tri-tip & provolone on the rolls. Broil until the cheese is melty.

03 GARNISH

Add a handful of frizzled onions to each sandwich. Then, add a handful of arugula. Finish with the top of the bun.

WHAT IS THE BEST CHEESE FOR THESE SANDWICHES?

I like provolone, but you can also use white cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, pepper jack, or even blue cheese. All so delicious!

TIP!

For the best flavor, make sure to marinate the tri-tip before cooking it! You can use either dry rub or marinade depending on what you like best.
