CHEWY TRIPLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

INGREDIENTS

- unsalted butter - bittersweet chocolate - cocoa powder - neutral oil - espresso powder - sugar - eggs - vanilla - flour - salt - mini chocolate chips

01 MIX THE CHOCOLATE

1. Melt the butter & chocolate chips. 2. Add the cocoa powder, oil, & espresso powder. 3. Then, add the sugar & the eggs one at a time.

02 WHISK THE BROWNIE BATTER

1. Beat the batter until it's lightened, about 3-4 minutes. 2. Add the flour & salt. 3. Then, mix in the mini chocolate chips. Don't over-whisk!

03 BAKE THE BROWNIES

1.Spoon the batter into a greased 8x8 baking pan. 2. Smooth the batter evenly - it will be fairly thick. 3. Bake the brownies until an inserted toothpick has a few moist crumbs.

04 CHILL & SLICE

1. Let the brownies cool at room temperature. 2. Then, chill the brownies for 1-2 hours (for easy slicing). 3. Slice the brownies & sprinkle with flaky salt. Enjoy!

PRO TIP!

Brownies are fully baked when an inserted toothpick has just a few moist crumbs. Test the area in-between the edges & center for the most accurate results.

WHISK THE SUGAR INTO THE HOT CHOCOLATE-BUTTER MIXTURE. THEN, WHISK THE EGGS & SUGAR FOR 3-4 MINUTES AFTER COMBINING!

CAN I USE OTHER TYPES OF CHOCOLATE IN THIS RECIPE?

Sure! I find that bittersweet & semisweet is a perfect combo but feel free to use milk or dark chocolate (or a mix) if you prefer.
