SPICED RED WINTER SANGRIA

with pears & pomegranate

3 REASONS TO MAKE THIS SPICED SANGRIA

1. It comes together in 15 minutes. 2. It's easy to double or triple for a party or get-together. 3. This sangria has all of the best flavors of the season!

THE INGREDIENT LIST

- Apples - Pears - Blood oranges - Pomegranates - Cinnamon stick

- Simple syrup - Orange liqueur - Brandy - Apple juice - Red wine

01 FRUIT

1. Add the apples & pears to a large pitcher. 2. Then, add the blood orange slices & pomegranate arils. 3. Add a cinnamon stick.

02 MIXERS

1. Pour the simple syrup & orange liqueur over the fruit. 2. Then, add the brandy and apple juice. 3. Stir gently to combine.

03 WINE

1. Pour a bottle of red wine into the pitcher. 2. Mix well. 3. Cover & refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve over ice & enjoy!

GARNISH IDEAS

GARNISH THIS HOLIDAY SANGRIA WITH ROSEMARY SPRIGS, A CINNAMON STICK, WINTER FRUIT, OR A CINNAMON-SUGAR RIM.

RECIPE TIP

I recommend letting the sangria refrigerate overnight so the flavors have time to meld. This is the perfect make-ahead pitcher cocktail!

Some of my favorites: - Tempranillo - Grenache - Rioja - Pinot Noir - Malbec - A dry red blend
