1. Mix the milk, yeast, & sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer.2. Once it's foamy, add the butter, vanilla, egg, salt, & flour.3. Knead for 7 minutes & rise.
1. Mix the cookie butter & cinnamon.2. Then, divide the dough into 4 pieces & roll each into a circle.3. Stack the dough, spreading cookie butter between each layer.
1. Cut 16 strips around the dough leaving a 2-inch circle in the middle.2. Twist 2 adjacent strips away from each other & seal.3. Repeat with the rest of the strips.
For light & fluffy dough, don't add too much flour. The dough will be a little sticky! Also, make sure to knead it for a full 5-7 minutes to develop the gluten.
