THE INGREDIENTS

- Active dry yeast - Whole milk - Sugar - Vanilla - Eggs - Butter - Salt - Flour - Brown sugar - Cinnamon

S T E P 1

Mix the milk with yeast & sugar until it's foamy. Add the sugar, vanilla, an egg, butter, flour, & salt until you have a shaggy dough.

Knead the dough until it's smooth and slightly tacky. Cover the bowl with a linen and let it rise until doubled, about 1-2 hours.

Roll the dough on a floured surface until it's a large rectangle. Spread with butter and add cinnamon & brown sugar.

Roll the dough until you have a loaf shape. Pinch the ends. Place the bread in a loaf pan and cover with a linen. Rise until it's puffy, about 1 hour.

Mix up the streusel. Brush the bread with egg wash and sprinkle the streusel over the top. Bake the loaf until it's golden-brown.

HOW TO GET A PERFECT SWIRL

To make sure that you get a gorgeous swirl, you need to roll the dough pretty tightly. The tighter the roll, the swirlier the bread will be!

MAKE-AHEAD BREAD

You can make this bread the night before! Just assemble the bread & let it slow-rise in the fridge overnight. Add streusel & bake in the morning!
