It's easy & make-ahead. This stuffing is never soggy. But so savory & tasty! It's s a huge crowd-pleaser. Everyone loves it!

the ingredient list

- breakfast sausage - butter - shallots - celery - garlic - sage, thyme, & rosemary - cornbread - chicken broth - parsley - red pepper flakes - salt & pepper

S T E P 1

Brown the sausage. Then, sauté the veggies & herbs.  Gently crumble the cornbread into the sausage-veggie mixture.

S T E P 2

Pour chicken broth into the stuffing until it's moist but not soggy. Add the parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Enjoy it hot!

MAKE-AHEAD?

Absolutely! This recipe is easy to make-ahead and heat when you're ready to enjoy. A stress-free Thanksgiving dish!

FOR THE CORNBREAD, YOU HAVE 3 OPTIONS:

1. Make homemade bread. 2. Use store-bought. 3. Bake up a boxed mix.

To make this vegetarian, leave out the sausage or use produce like mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, or apples!

CORNBREAD STUFFING FOR TURKEY

Personally, I serve this stuffing as a side dish. But, you can also fill a turkey! This recipe is enough for one 8 lb. turkey. Or, double it for anything over 12 lbs.
