FREEZER DOOR OLD FASHIONED

with bourbon or rye!

3 REASONS TO MAKE THESE FREEZER COCKTAILS!

1. They're super smooth & perfectly balanced. 2. You can make 8 cocktails in one bottle! 3. They are amazing for a party.

THE INGREDIENT LIST

- Bourbon or rye whiskey - Simple syrup - Angostura bitters - Lemon bitters

- Filtered water - Orange twist, lemon twist, or cocktail cherries

01 POUR

1. Start by pouring out some of the whiskey into a bottle. Save for later. 2. Add the simple syrup & bitters to the whiskey. 3. Then, add the filtered water to the bottle.

02 FREEZE

Next, cap the bottle & gently shake it to combine. Then, place the bottle in the freezer door & freeze the old fashioneds for 4+ hours.

03 SERVE

Serve the batched old fashioned over a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange twist, lemon twist, and/or cocktail cherry. Enjoy!

RECIPE TIP!

TASTE THE WHISKEY BEFORE YOU ADD SIMPLE SYRUP. IF IT'S VERY SWEET, USE LESS. IF IT'S SPICIER WHISKEY, USE MORE SYRUP, TO TASTE.

DO I HAVE TO USE LARGE ICE CUBES?

I definitely recommend pouring the old fashioneds over a large ice cube! They melt slower so the cocktail doesn't get too diluted.

WHAT WHISKEY SHOULD I USE?

Some of my favorites: - Elijah Craig - Four Roses - Maker's Mark - Frey Ranch - Uncle's Nearest
