INTIMATE DINNER PARTY

how to throw an

fun, easy, & stress-free!

WHAT IS AN INTIMATE DINNER PARTY?

I generally think of intimate dinner parties as 6-8 people. Invite just your closest friends so you can mingle & enjoy the party!

WHY YOU SHOULD THROW A SMALL DINNER PARTY

- It's a great way to connect with friends & family! - It keeps the party stress-free. - Small parties are simple & more affordable.

PLAN & BUDGET

Start planning & budgeting by figuring out: - Your guest list - Invites - How much to spend - The menu - Decor

CREATE A TIMELINE

To keep things fun and stress-free, I recommend creating a dinner party timeline! It will help you stay on track and spread out tasks.

THE MENU

Keep the menu simple & elegant. I choose one easy app, a main dish, a simple side dish, and a make-ahead dessert.

TIP!

When it comes to side dishes, have your friends help! Not only will they love to participate, but it will take stress off of you. Have them bring sides, salad, bread, or even drinks.

THE DRINKS

For drinks, I recommend keeping it simple by offering wine and beer. If you want a cocktail option, try a make-ahead pitcher cocktail!

DECOR & AMBIENCE

- KEEP IT BASIC WITH CANDLES AND/OR FLOWERS - CHOOSE FAMILY-STYLE OR BUFFET-STYLE - TURN ON RELAXING, QUIET MUSIC

HAVE FUN!

After all of your hard work cooking and cleaning, don't forget to have fun, relax, & mingle with your friends. You deserve it!
