EASY IRISH COFFEE BROWNIES

with Irish whiskey ganache

WHY YOU SHOULD MAKE THESE BROWNIES

They're quick & easy. Make them with instant coffee or espresso. They're rich and fudgy. This recipe is a huge crowd pleaser!

INGREDIENTS

- UNSALTED BUTTER - COCOA POWDER - SUGAR & BROWN SUGAR - VANILLA - EGGS - FLOUR - SALT - INSTANT COFFEE - CHOCOLATE CHIPS - CREAM - IRISH WHISKEY - WHITE CHOCOLATE

First, whisk together the melted butter, cocoa powder, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, & eggs until smooth.

Then, stir in the flour, salt, and instant coffee powder until it's just combined. The batter will be thick.

Spoon the batter into an 8x8'' pan and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until set.

Let the brownies cool while you make the ganache.

To make the ganache, bring the cream to a simmer. Pour over the chocolate chips & stir until melted. Add the Irish whiskey, vanilla, & salt.

Pour the ganache over the brownies. Pipe stripes of melted white chocolate over the ganache and use a toothpick to drag swirls into the topping. Let it set.

CAN I USE INSTANT ESPRESSO?

Absolutely! Since instant espresso is more rich than instant coffee, start with 2 teaspoons of espresso and add more to taste.

TIP!

For an alcohol-free version, just omit the Irish whiskey from the ganache. Coffee brownies with chocolate ganache? Yes please!
